The 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Laser Technology and Application Innovation and Development Forum, jointly hosted by the Zhuhai Welding Association, the Guangdong Welding Industry Association, and the Welding Branch of the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society, successfully concluded on February 23, 2025. On February 22, at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Laser Technology and Application Innovation and Development Forum, Mr. Huang Qingsong, one of the regional head of Cowin Welding, delivered a thematic report titled "Fronius + Laser Welding Technology". He introduced that since Fronius successfully launched the advanced "Laser - MIG" hybrid welding technology in 2000, it has continuously promoted the development and application of this technology. Through continuous in-depth research and development, a new generation of "i series" intelligent welding systems supporting lasers has been developed. Based on advanced sensor technology, it can monitor key welding parameters in real time, use intelligent algorithms for data analysis and feedback adjustment, precisely match the wire feeding movement with the arc waveform, optimize the technology application, and help more industries break through the bottleneck of welding processes and achieve excellent manufacturing.
