On June 20, 2025, the 28th Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Exhibition concluded successfully in Shanghai. This year's event set a new record, bringing together 30,709 professional visitors (including 2,261 overseas attendees) from 104 countries and regions, along with over 800 top exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations in welding and cutting.
During the exhibition, the "Sino-Foreign Cooperation Exchange Gala & 40th Anniversary Launch Ceremony of Essen Exhibition," jointly hosted by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and its Welding Institute, the China Welding Association (CWA) and its Welding Equipment Committee, the German Welding Society (DVS), and Messe Essen, was held on the evening of June 17. Cowin Welding was invited to attend, and President Mr. Simon So delivered a keynote speech before joining the organizers in launching the anniversary celebration. Distinguished guests witnessed the 40-year legacy of the Beijing Essen Exhibition and looked forward to a new chapter of craftsmanship and innovation in the industry！

Distinguished Leaders, Ladies, and Gentlemen, Good evening! It is a great honor to be invited to the 40th-anniversary celebration of the 28th Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Exhibition! At this pivotal moment marking the evolution of China's welding industry, I extend my deepest gratitude to the organizing committee on behalf of Cowin Welding, as well as my highest respect to all friends here who have witnessed and propelled the industry's progress.
Reflecting on the past four decades—years of perseverance and fruitful achievements—the Essen Show has not only served as a window for global technical exchange but also nurtured countless Chinese enterprises in their metamorphosis. I still recall being captivated by FRONIUS' welding technology at the 1996 Essen Show in Germany. Soon after, we debuted at China's Essen Exhibition as FRONIUS' exclusive agent in China. Since then, we've dedicated ourselves to diverse applications. Each exhibition has been like submitting an exam paper, where we showcase our growth on this very platform.
Now, as our company approaches its 30th anniversary, we've evolved from selling standard welding products to offering integrated automation systems, skills training, production processing, software R&D, and smart equipment customization. Every leap forward owes to your support and the empowerment of the Essen Show. Moving ahead, we will continue to present ourselves on this “Olympics of Welding”, refining our ability to deliver unique value. The Essen 2025 × Cowin Welding collaboration flooded 41,000 screens (platform PIS displays and in-car screens on Lines 7 & 10), with 32 daily loops per screen, amassing over a million impressions. A fusion of industrial aesthetics and welding tech—a powerhouse alliance redefining the industry!
