New training will be opened in China Welding Association Robot Welding (Zhuhai) Training Base!

In recent years, with the advancement of industrial modernization, welding has developed in the direction of automation, digitization, and intelligence, and the demand for welding skilled personnel is increasing. Robots are listed as one of the ten key areas in the "Made in China 2025" plan. In order to speed up the training of skilled personnel in welding and robotic welding, the China Welding Association took the lead in launching the qualification certification of robot welding operators, laying a solid foundation for the training of welding talents and the development of the welding industry in China!

Since the 1990s, Cowin Welding has provided professional welding processes, equipment and technical services for manufacturing companies. Since 2015, it has been preparing to apply for the robot training platform of the China Welding Association to contribute to my country’s transition from an industrialized country to an industrialized country. # Training objectives #

Director Kuang of Cowin Welding Training Center introduced: Our annual training number can reach more than 100 people. According to the "Arc Welding Robot Practitioner Qualification Specification" of the China Welding Association, we will carry out "Arc Welding Robot Operator (CRAW-O)" and " Arc Welding Robot Operator Technician (CRAW-T)" certification training work to meet the growing market demand for robotic welding, and provide high-level training to manufacturing groups such as auto parts, rail transit, offshore equipment, sheet metal processing, heavy equipment, and light industry. # Application conditions #

Registered Robot Arc Welding Operator (CRAW-O): The minimum education requirement requires a high school graduation or equivalent (a university degree related to engineering can be exempted from up to 2 years of work experience, but not a welder); the minimum working experience is 3 years, Among them, at least 6 months of manual welding or semi-automatic welding experience; and at least 1 year of welding-related (semi-automatic or robotic welding) experience (including the above 6 months). Registered Robot Arc Welding Technician (CRAW-T): The minimum degree requires a high school graduation or equivalent (a university degree related to engineering can be exempted from up to 2 years of work experience, but not a welder's work experience), and must first hold AWS registration Welding inspector CWI certification; the minimum working life is 5 years, including at least 6 months of manual welding or semi-automatic welding experience; and at least 18 months of welding-related (semi-automatic or robotic welding) experience (including the above 6 Months).

# Theoretical and practical assessment #

● Theoretical test: full score is 100 points, time is 100 minutes, and the test questions involve two parts: robot and welding basics;

● Practical test: Full score is 100 points, and the time is 120 minutes. The test questions involve identification and operation demonstration of each component, demonstration of safe operation, setting of process and welding method, robot programming of test piece, welding and welding of test piece quality.
